The undisputed ruler of the ocean, the Megalodon

The Megalodon is undoubtedly the ruler of the ancient oceans. The Megalodon was known to eat anything that came in front of it and was ruthless in its hunting methods. During these hunts, things were very rough and the Megalodon sometimes had a tooth that fell out or broke off. These are then found and studied by contemporary researchers. They extract valuable information from this and make estimates such as: the Megalodon could reach a length of 18 metres and a weight of 40,000 to 60,000 kilos. That is quite a large shark if you think about it like that.

Almost complete megalodon teeth (90% complete)

As mentioned above, Megalodon hunts were ruthless. Sometimes a tooth was lost or broken off. However, this does not mean that the teeth are worthless. They each tell their own story. Perhaps the Megalodon was in combat with the Leviathan or broke a tooth during a hunt for large prey. So although the tooth is broken, it still has its own story. And who knows, you might get it in your collection and one day more information about the broken tooth will become available and you will be able to tell the story further.
